    1. Can you explain the gut-kidney axis connection? TBI Cdiff patient stopped urinating as she was finishing her second around of Vancomycin requiring a catheter to be inserted. Did the kidneys get overwhelmed processing the toxin die-off from two rounds of Vancomycin?

    Two comments/thoughts:

    1. January depression/blues possibly due to adrenal insufficiency or adrenal fatigue after the holidays? The holidays are wonderful but SO many more added activities/stress to our already busy lives.

    2. Toward the end of the year in the US, we celebrate a CANDY holiday, followed by a PIE holiday, then a COOKIES and CANDY holiday, ending the year with a BOOZE holiday. Then the so called experts call it “flu season” but it should really be called the SUGAR POISONING SEASON.

    From Dr. Cynthia:

I have recently had two patients, females, both in their 60’s who have orange urine, not the color that comes from vitamins.

Female 1: no gallbladder, hypothyroidism, previous viral infection that caused an extreme spike in liver enzymes, I had her on Detox Phase 1&2, NAC, and lipo-complex.

Female 2: has her gallbladder, complained of nausea, loss of appetite, yellowing of the eyes, elevated liver enzymes back in November,. Started her on the detox shake, NAC, GI defend and GI integrity at end of last week. Reported test feeling better, still has orange urine and yellow eyes.

    Anything else I should consider?
