1. Can you explain the gut-kidney axis connection? TBI Cdiff patient stopped urinating as she was finishing her second around of Vancomycin requiring a catheter to be inserted. Did the kidneys get overwhelmed processing the toxin die-off from two rounds of Vancomycin?
Two comments/thoughts:
1. January depression/blues possibly due to adrenal insufficiency or adrenal fatigue after the holidays? The holidays are wonderful but SO many more added activities/stress to our already busy lives.
2. Toward the end of the year in the US, we celebrate a CANDY holiday, followed by a PIE holiday, then a COOKIES and CANDY holiday, ending the year with a BOOZE holiday. Then the so called experts call it “flu season” but it should really be called the SUGAR POISONING SEASON.
